MARINA RIZZELLI

Marina Rizzelli Artista Ceramica RakuThe Artist gets closer to the artistic experience through the glass expression. She attends a course for the production of artistic glass walls using the Tiffany technique in Milan, experimenting one of the strongest expressive elements of her artistic flair: light.

Some years later she gets closer to pottery, attending Raku pottery courses with Nicoletta Breda and freehand drawing course with Master Sergio Antola, adding the other funding element to her artistic expression: soil.

Then in 2006 thanks to the meeting of the great master Giovanni Cimatti she was able to increase the contemporary pottery technique, enriching her artistic and expressive abilities.

Light and soil are the elements of her home and her life.

Her works range from glass walls to mixed-media paintings and to pottery, in an apparent discontinuity marking an endless research.

In her works there is a spontaneous usage of every-day life's natural materials, which become original creative expression.

She is member of the “Sculturaceramica” Association.

Talking about her, marina says;

"I believe I am an artisan artist who loves working all the materials I need to create, such as wood, ceramic, glass, gypsum, cloth.

I devoted myself to glass modeling for a long time, using the tiffany technique for big glass walls and decorative items.

In the last few years I developed an unbridled desire for something new and I left my instinct take over."

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT HER

Marina expresses the joy and the beauty of a creative path which was born as expression of her subconscious.  Her works are similar to dreams that take shape and speak about her through some kind of art-therapy.
